• Kim Mooyoung Artist

    Kim Mooyoung, a native of Seoul, studied the art of film and video at the California Institute of the Arts (BFA and MFA). He held a solo exhibition titled Under the Flag (Hapjeong Zone) in 2017, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions at Deluge Contemporary Art in Canada, Soma Museum of Art in Seoul, and Basis Frankfurt in Germany. Kim has worked as an artist-in-residence at the Goyang Residency in Gyeonggi-do and the Frankfurt AIR in Germany, and is currently an artist-in-residence at the Geumho Art Studio.

  • Yoon Jiyoung Artist

    Yoon Jiyoung studied sculpture at Hongik University and received an MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then she has held two solo exhibitions including Glorious Magnificent in Chicago and On a Proper Line in Seoul (both in 2015), and participated in a number of group exhibitions such as Instructions for the Audience held at the SeMA Bunker, Acrobatic Cosmos at One and J Gallery, No Longer Objects at the Buk Seoul Museum of Art, Scatter Gather at the Insa Art Space, and Discrete Use of Reality at the Doosan Gallery.

    She has also participated in a few residency programs including the MacDowell Colony in 2014, the Goyang Residency of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 2016, and the Seoul Art Space Geumcheon in 2017 and 2018.

  • KDK Artist

    KDK studied photography at the Seoul Institute of the Arts before completing Meisterschueler and Akademiebrief courses at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany. He has produced many photographs for diverse solo and group exhibitions, including Facility Skins at the Michael Schultz Gallery Seoul in 2011, [b] at Gallery 2 in 2012, Out Of In in Berlin in 2016, and [p] at Perigee Gallery in 2015. He also worked as an artist-in-residence at the SeMA Nanji Residency in 2009, the Changdong Studio in 2010, and the Cité internationale des arts in 2017.

  • Sin Hyeon-jeong Artist

    Sin Hyeon-jeong studied animation at the New York School of Visual Art and the Graduate School of Fine Art, Goldsmiths University of London. She has participated in many group exhibitions including Silky Navy Skin at Insa Art Space, Moving Shadow at the Hongcheon Gallery, and Now/Here at the Korean Cultural Center in London. She has also held a number of solo exhibitions including Points, Lines, Planes and Weather at Gallery AG and Confronting the Atmosphere at the Sophis Gallery. She has worked as an artist-in-residence at the SeMA Nanji Residency, and was selected as a Public Art New Hero in 2018.

  • Kim Seung-gu Artist

    Kim Seunggu graduated from Sangmyung University in 2007 where he majored photography, and graduated from Korea National University of Arts with a BA and an MA in Plastic Arts in 2012.

    Since then Kim has held a number of solo exhibitions including List of Landscapes at Song Eun Art Cube, Envisaged in Dreams at the Post Territory Ujeongguk, and A Day Trip at Artbit Gallery, as well as participating in various group exhibitions including Our Happy Days at the Buk Seoul Museum of Art, 50X50 at the Art Sonje Center, and Geyonggi Art Prism at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art.

    He has also been invited to a number of events such as the 2014 event organized by Song Eun Art Cube, exhibitions financed by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture in 2016 and 2018, and BMW Photospace Photography sponsored by the Go Eun Cultural Foundation, and was selected as the Artist of the Year supported by the KT&G Sangsang Madang. Currently, he is preparing for a solo exhibition at Chicago Filter Photo which will be held in 2019.

  • Yeo Daham Artist

    Yeo Daham(b. 1984) studied photography and video art at the Haja Production School in 2003. Since graduating from the school, he has engaged in a multitude of collaborative projects and residency works, as well as holding his first solo exhibition, Dust Control Tower, in 2011. Yeo received the Second Ilmac Art Prize in 2012, and was nominated for the Hermes Foundation Art Award in 2014.

  • Zin Kijong Artist

    Zin Kijong graduated from the School of Arts and Design, Gachon University in 2005 where he studied environmental sculpture. He held his first solo exhibition, On Air, at the Arario Gallery in Seoul in 2008, followed by Television: Rules of the Nation held at Galerie plan. d. in Düsseldorf, and Atheism Report at Gallery Hyundai. Zin produced a video work for the media art wall of the Pyeongchang Information Hall, which was opened during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and a diorama of Kim Hong-do's paintings of travelers for the Danwon Gallery in 2016.
    He received the Excellence Prize at the 17th Song Eun Art Awards in 2017, and the Grand Prize of the JCC Frontier Awards hosted by the JCC Museum.

  • Kwon Hyewon Artist

    Kwon Hyewon graduated from the School of Film, TV and Multimedia, Korea National University of Arts, before studying media art at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL in London, UK.
    She was selected for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2011, and received the Excellence Prize (Ususang) at the 34th Joong-Ang Fine Arts Prize (Excellence Prize). Kwon worked as the artist-in-residence at the SeMA Nanji Residency in 2016, and the Goyang Residency in 2017.
    Recently, she has participated in such events as Common Front, Affectively held at the Nam June Paik Art Center and The Arrival of New Women at the Deoksugung Gallery of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

  • Jang Pa Artist

    Jang Pa (b. 1981) graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Western Painting and Aesthetics, and received an MA in Western Painting from the Graduate School of the same university. She has held a number of solo exhibitions including Lady-X (Gallery Zandari, 2015), Fluid Neon (Soma Drawing Center, 2016) and X-GURLESQUE (Doosan Gallery New York, 2017), and participated in various group exhibitions hosted by the Seoul Museum of Art, OCI Museum of Art, and Art Space Pool.

  • Choi Chansook Artist

    Choi Chan-sook received Diploma and Meister degrees at the Universität der Künste Berlin, and was selected for the Emerging Artist Support Program sponsored by the City of Berlin.
    She was selected as the Artist of Tomorrow by the Sungkok Art Museum in Seoul, and received the Young Artist Prize from the LOOP gallery. She held her first solo exhibition at the Art Sonje Center to celebrate the New Artist Program Award she received from the Seoul Museum of Art in 2017.
    Choi has also held solo exhibitions at the Grimm Gallery in Germany, and the Galaxy Museum of Contemporary Art in Sacheon, South Korea, and received a prize from the Ilje-August Foundation, an affiliated organization of the Municipal Art Museum of Berlin.

  • Bin Woohyuk Artist

    Bin Woohyuk completed BA and MA degrees in Plastic Arts at the Korean National University of Arts. He held his first solo exhibition, Stirring Still, at the OCI Museum of Art in 2014, and his ninth, Luftzeichner, at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art in 2018. He has also participated in many group exhibitions.
    Bin received the Emerging Artist Award from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in 2013 and the Young Artist of Our Times from the Bank of Korea in 2016, and was selected as the GMoMA-GCC Quantum Jump Artist in 2017.

  • Kim Kyungtae Artist

    After majoring in graphics at Chung-Ang University, Kim has been working as a graphic designer. In 2012, he switched his major to photography and completed the Art Direction master’s course at Lausanne University of Art and Design in Switzerland. Kim published his portfolio in collections On The Rocks, Cathédrale de Lausanne 1505–2022, and Angles while also showing his body of work through the exhibitions Wellknown Unknown at Kukje Gallery (2016), Graphic Design, 2005–2012, Seoul at Ilmin Museum of Art (2016), and Papers and Concrete: Modern Architecture in Korea 1987–1997 at MMCA Seoul (2017).
