Seoul Museum(Buam)

Seoul Museum(Buam) aims to extract various values from art and culture from both Korean and global art scene. Seoul Museum can be defined as a true dynamic space where it creates and delivers fresh discourse of contemporary art. Sukpajung located in the park of Seoul Museum is one of the picturesque architectural remains from Joseon dynasty and is registered as Seoul Metropolitan Government’s tangible cultural asset No.26 since 1974. Sukpajung was used as a villa for Yi Ha-eung, a father of King Gojong in late 19thcentury and it successfully delivers our ancestors’ sophisticated cultural taste to the present.
