The Seoul Museum of Art, or SeMA, first opened in 1998 at the former building of Seoul High School, and moved and reopened to its current location in Seosomun, Junggu in 2002. SeMa exhibitions consist of various contents and formats which satisfies two missions of “post-museum” and “glocal museum”. They are divided into two large categories, the one deals with the tendency to deconstruct genres by embracing all art-related fields such ad architecture, film, music, fashion, craft, design and more.
