MMCA Deoksugung accommodates both the modern and contemporary art of Korea and international art from different time periods, mainly from the 1900s to 1960s. It specializes in seeking out and researching modern art and exhibiting and preserving it. In addition, the museum also develops and provides various education programs, publishes art books, and promotes international exchange in the various areas of modern art through a wide range of projects.
