In order to fulfill the role as a professional archive, Kim Daljin Museum of Art Archives efficiently maintains and preserves art-related materials in various forms, which serve as the foundation of artistic creation and academic research. The museum houses a collection that started from the Japanese colonization until today: publications and periodicals on art, present journals, theses, pamphlets, newspaper scraps and Korean artists profiles that amount to around 270 artists. This vast range of materials exquisitely illustrates the progress of Korean modern and contemporary art throughout history.
