KIGOJA is an independent art space based in Seoul founded by Alba Dawoon Lim. It aims to provide a platform for emerging art practicioners whom have engaging practices but yet relatively unknown in the scene. For each exhibition, it focuses on only single artist aiming to facilitate the critical dialogue of the artist. The space is also establishing an initiative platform by paring the selected artists and curators to discuss and critically view the artists’ oeuvre for further development. Each project has accompanying various programs including artist talk, round table, workshop, performance, and screening to produce multiple discourses upon each selected artists and curators’concern and theme.
