Hanwon Museum of Art

Hanwon Museum of Art was opened in 1993 as a first-class art museum. The property originally belonged to Ha Dong-hwan, honorary chairman of Hanwon Group and founder of the Dong-A Motor Company. The founding vision for the museum was to support exhibitions and research in the arts. With a collection ranging from figurative art, particularly landscape art, to media art and Korean painting, Hanwon Museum of Art has made continued efforts to promote balanced growth in Korean art, preserving its historical significance and identity over twenty years.
