Since its opening in 2005, Gallery KONG has taken a leading role in introducing European and American photographs to Korean audiences and helping to establish young Korean artists in international art market. In 2005, the gallery was established with the first exhibition of American photographer Joel Meyerowitz in Korea. Gallery KONG has represented established names such as Bernard Faucon, Joel Mayerowitz, Sandy Skoglund, Min Byung Hun and Kim Jung Man; and emerging young artists, Sookang KIM, Yi Yeon KANG, So Jung JEON, Jung Yeon MIN, Chen Ruo Bing, and etc.
