Gallery EM opened its doors on September 15th, 2007 in Chungdam-dong, Seoul’s mecca of art & fashion. Gallery EM’s mission is to exhibit the finest quality of art by talented artists from across the globe and to promote their works both in the domestic and international art markets. The gallery strives to globalize the Korean art market by introducing it to a wide spectrum of works by international artists. Gallery EM creates its exhibitions through close collaboration with artists, independent curators, and art critics. A viewer-friendly space, the gallery also acts as a liaison between Korean artists and the rest of the world. In order to promote Korean artists worldwide, the gallery regularly participates in international art fairs and continuously encourages exhibitions of Korean artists in other countries.
