MMCA Cheongju opens the first open storage in Korea, based on the collections of art museum and government•art Bank. The open storage possesses collections that are fundamental in art museums and disclose them. So, visitors are able to enjoy vast amount of art pieces as well as understand the hidden functions of art museums through the storage, making the MMCA Cheongju a museum with extended art museum.
