Wumin art center, which will open on September 2, 2011, aims to facilitate a rich extension of Korean contemporary art by appreciating the peculiarities and possibilities of the local arts and culture of Cheongju and carrying out substantial activities. As the term “Wumin(又民)” in Korean means “to love people.” we pursue a public contribution to the local arts and culture as well as creative communication.
