Daejeon Museum of Art, which has opened in April 15, 1998, is trying to become a central cultural institution for the region and at the same time a museum of contemporary art that researches, exhibits, and educates Daejeon and Chungcheong regional art, and diagnoses and surveys the present and future through vigorous domestic and overseas cultural exchange.
