Gallery Baton has steadily established itself as one of the most influential contemporary art galleries in Korea and Asia. Founded in 2011, Gallery Baton strives to promote diversity by creating a platform that highlights established artists and introduces emerging talent onto the world stage. Together, its refined aesthetics and curatorial program create outstanding exhibitions that reflect notable trends in the contemporary art world.

Over the years, Gallery Baton has supported its artists’ careers by actively collaborating with major museums for exhibitions and collections along with participating major international art fairs such as Art Basel HK, Frieze London, Frieze NY.

Alongside its main exhibition program, Gallery Baton runs three distinct alternative spaces dedicated to supporting under-represented artists. While the Observation Deck serves as a venue for video and new media works, two not-for-profit programs, Chapter II and Chapter II Yard, provide studio spaces, curatorial support, and exhibition opportunities.
