In 2005, the gallery reestablished itself at a new exhibition space in Dalmaji Hill near Haeundae Beach and opened another space in Chungdamdong, Seoul, in 2007. Beginning by exhibiting representative artists of Korean Monochrome Movement such as Park Seo-Bo, Jeong Chang-Sup and Yun Hyong-Keun, who were the leading pioneers of Korean Modernism, Johyun Gallery has been organizing exhibitions that reflect critical moments in the course of Korean modern art history. The gallery also has been continuously showcasing works of internationally acclaimed artists such as Pierre Soulages, Jim Dine, Yayoi Kusama, Jesus Rafael Soto and Jean Pierre Raynaud.
