About the Museum Opened on Apr. 28 2014, Yangju City Chang Ucchin Museum of Art pays tribute to the achievements and spirit of Chang Ucchin, one of representatives of modern Korean fine art, and serves as an educational museum to display and research the artworks and materials which contribute to the development of modern Korean fine art. Yangju City Art Studio under Yangju City Chang Ucchin Museum of Art consists of 777 Residence which supports new artists in the areas of painting, photograph, and complex media and Jangheung Sculpture Residence for established sculptors. It provides a variety of studio programs, including solo exhibitions, critic workshops, open studios, and special exhibitions.
