Supplement space Stone & Water is a nonprofit multi-art space, located in the city of Anyang, specifically around Anyang River and in vacant spaces in Seoksu Market. Since its establishment in 2002, it has supported “art in everyday life” based on the concept of “public realm”, “locality” and “ecology” in order to propel various experimental artistic activities and projects so that art and life can meet. Since 2007, Stone & Water has organized Seoksu Art Project (SAP) which integrates an international residency program, local festivals, and educational and volunteer programs. Engaging with the local community through transformation of the idle space in Seoksu Market into a creative space, Stone & Water has become a glocal platform.
