Hong kong blossoms with Art, as Spring comes. This time the fifth edition of Art Basel Hong Kong and the third edition of satellite fair will be lined up with 248 premier galleries from 32 countries and territories. Underlining Art Basel's commitment to the region, half of the participating galleries once again have exhibition spaces in Asia and Asia-Pacific. The show provides an in-depth overview of the region’s diversity through both historical material and cutting-edge works by established and emerging artists.
The main fair, spread across two floors of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre located in a set of large tents near the Harbour, showed another hundred galleries, with 75 per cent hailing from the Asia-Pacific region.

With the truly global festive move, at the Park Ryu Sook Gallery of Seoul, were the highly accomplished paintings of Kim Chong Hak(b.1937) who remained a figurative expressionist when the Korean avant-garde became obsessed with abstraction. Conversations offers a platform for dynamic dialogues between prominent members of the international artworld, each offering their unique perspective on producing, collecting, and exhibiting art.
