Magnum photographer Erich Hartmann will be seen in a form of photo exhibition, even in the middle of fair and the most blossoming market in Basel, indeed. Not just whitecube but the performance art- the artist Cynthia Fleischmann is going to present at the Biergarten/Volkshaus. Again the situational and local context will be engaged with photographer Joschi Herczeg; eyewear store is mutated into a pop-up gallery.

VOLTA’s 2018 edition will take place at a new location, the former COOP distribution center, just a stone’s throw distance. This year, 75 galleries will show at VOLTA, including 20 solo presentations and 20 dual-artist booths.
