Busan Museum of Art has hosted Vision & Perspective to discover and support emerging artists. Since its first edition in March of 1999, 15 editions so far have presented more than 60 young artists.

This year’s edition, while keeping the paramount mission of supporting artists in mind, has approached how to select artists and present the exhibition.

The common threads in the works of the six selected artists are norms and boundaries. The artists tell their own stories, starting from questions about the norms, frames, stereotypes, and so-called conventional wisdom of the society they are in.
