SPURS Gallery is pleased to announce the representation of contemporary artist Cody Choi in Asia, while working alongside with PKM gallery from Korea. Choi’s first solo exhibition in China, titled "Mr. Hard Mix Master: Noblesse Hybridige" will be on view at SPURS Gallery I & II starting from October 17 until November 15, 2020. Cody Choi, visual artist and cultural theorist was born in Seoul in 1961.

The title of the exhibition is a parody of the notion of "Noblesse Oblige," but this is no angry look from a leftist perspective. Choi effectively connects aristocratic sensualism with postmodernist visual inundation, without deliberately giving a critical stance or scrupling to employ the intellectual games of conceptualism.
