The exhibition is about the reflection on the impact of the pandemic on our city in 2020 and on the post-pandemic. The exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part shows paintings, installation and photography works of CHUNG Soyoung, OH Yeonjin and CHO Minah, while JANG Yunmi and PARK Syeyoung present their recent works in the second screening section.

The title of the exhibition ‘Our Homecoming’ is from ‘Poor Harvest of the City’, a novel by PARK Wan-suh, one of the most renowned writers of the 20th century in Korea. In the novel, she portrays the end of one era, and the glimmer of hope afterward from the view of the next generation, not as a dramatic process but as their daily lives. The exhibition aims to convey the power of art to confront the imperfections of the world through the works of young artists who have witnessed the anxiety of the society in pandemics with a keen sense of their own.
