P21 is presenting a solo exhibition of Eunsil Lee, 《Unstable Dimension》, from August 26th to September 25th, 2021. In this exhibition, her seven new paintings which depict psychological disorders of the contemporary era and primal urges of the individuals which are against society are shown. The gallery states, the artist "has demonstrated the energy of the splitting ego in the process of desires having conflicts with the social taboos and the suppression as a way of the conventions of Korean ink painting."

Eunsil Lee(b.1983) graduated from Seoul National University with M.F.A and B.F.A in Oriental painting. She has held solo shows such as PRESS THE BUTTON!(UARTSPACE, Seoul, 2019), Perfectly Matched(Doosan Gallery, New York, US, 2016), Peripheral Youth(Project Space SARUBIA, Seoul, 2010), Neutral Space(Alternative space pool, Seoul, 2009) and group exhibitions including MIDSUMMER(P21, Seoul, 2021), Tiger Lives(Coreana Museum of Art, Seoul, 2020), SongEun Art Award(SongEun ArtSpace, Seoul, 2019), ARTSPECTRUM 2014(Leeum Museum, Seoul, 2014). She won the 19th SongEun Art Award for excellence in 2019 and participated in the 2020 SongEun Artist Studio Program, 2018 Incheon Art Platform Residency Program and 2016 Doosan Arts Center Residency Program.
