The MMCA(The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea) presents 《MMCA Gwacheon Project 2022: Rooftop》 from 29 June 2022 to 25 June 2023 at MMCA Gwacheon.

The exhibition includes this year’s winning work, Garden in Time by JOHO Architecture (Lee Jeonghoon), which is a large-scale installation in the form of an open canopy with a 39-meter diameter. Entering the Rooftop, visitors are guided by the enormous structure to walk a full circle around the space. The array of pipes aligned in regular intervals adds a sense of rhythm, while the elevated structure guides visitors to the point with the most breathtaking scenery.

This exhibition also offers an archive of the regeneration plans proposed by the four other finalist groups (Kim Leehong (Leehong Kim Architects), Park Su-Jeong & Sim Hee-Jun (ArchiWorkshop), Park Heechan (Studio Heech), Lee Sukwoo (SWNA)) will be uploaded to the MMCA YouTube channel.
