Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) presents the exhibition Scoring the Words from September 1 to November 20, 2022, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Seosomun Main Branch. The Seoul Museum of Art sets an annual exhibition agenda and the direction to focus on during the year, and the 2022 SeMA’s exhibition agenda is "poetry," which considers the exhibition as a poem and suggests that the practitioners' practice be viewed as a common poem.

Scoring the Words reflects on ‘poetry’. Itself a piece of poetry, the exhibition proposes to perceive artistic practice as a set of poetic language that gives rise to the common imagery, or the effect. Through the works of the practitioners – all of whom have observed and articulated the political, social, and cultural movements in Asia that have unfolded synchronously - it shows how they write and speak about Asia’s phenomenon.

Including four Korean artists/team Suki Seokyeong Kang, A-Melting Pot (Daham Park & Boyeon Marta Shin), Youngin Hong, and Yezoi Hwang, with 14 artists, curators, researchers, and musicians’s artistic practices are shown in this exhibition.
