Hakgojae gallery presents Onejoon Che's exhibition Capital Black from November 30 to December 31, 2022. Onejoon Che has expressed today's political and social issues in various media such as photography, installation, and video. When he was serving as auxiliary police, he began to pay attention to what was going on in society while filming the protest scene.

The exhibition features African-Americans who live mainly in Dongducheon and Paju under four themes: individual, family, labor, and culture. They chose 'isolation' rather than adaptation, and Che captured people finding their own lives in Korea. Not only does he record, but also spends time with the characters in the photograph, talks with them, and captures the hope of moving away from their own world and settling in their second home country, Korea. Also, Che produced music videos with workers who have worked as singers in their home country and introduced their artistic messages to audiences.
