The history of Gallery Hyundai(CEO Do Hyung-teh) has been almost half a century of leadership at the forefront of the Korean art scene, particularly contemporary art. As Gallery Hyundai approaches its 50th anniversary in 2020, the gallery appointed Patrick Lee executive director, which is a newly created position. Based in Seoul and New York, Lee will help the gallery to manage artists, curator and art institutions. He has worked for One and J. Gallery, also based in Seoul, since 2006 as a director and partner. He recently served on the committee of Art Basel Hong Kong as a Sector Expert for Discoveries and Insights.
