For many years, the Korea Foundation has worked with a variety of well-known institutions to introduce Korea to global audiences through a variety of programs. These include the Support for Overseas Museums Program, the Arts and Cultural Exchange Program, and the Publication Support Program.

Museums are eligible to apply for the Support for Overseas Museums Program. Participating museums receive financial assistance to help cover the costs of Korea-related exhibitions, public outreach programs, and “Korea day” events.

The Support for Arts and Cultural Exchange Program is intended to assist in funding the preparations for a variety of Korea-related cultural exchanges such as Korean performing arts events, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and other comprehensive projects. Overseas organizations are eligible for this program.

The Publication Support Program covers a portion of the publication costs for newly written books or translation works, and is open to publishing companies looking to publish Korea-related books.

The KF’s Online Application Portal (http://apply.kf.or.kr) is currently open. To apply for one of these programs, please submit all required documents through the portal before 18:00 KST on September 2, 2019. Results will be announced in December and the grant period will start in the 2020 financial year.
