Lee Soyung

Lee Soyung earned a BFA from ArtCenter College of Design. She also graduated with an MFA from the Department of Fine Arts of the School of Visual Arts at Korea National University of Arts in 2004 and attained a doctorate’s degree in visual arts at Yonsei University Graduate School of Communication & Arts in 2015. In addition to her Seoul exhibitions, multiple personality disorder at Gallery Art Space Jungmiso (2004), and Doubtful Nest at Artspace Boan 1942 (2015), Lee also held a solo exhibition Displaced at Videotage in Hong Kong (2016), and partook in several other group shows. She also participated in multiple artist residencies: a Macdowell Colony fellowship in New Hampshire, the MMCA Residency Changdong, and a Swatch Art Peace Hotel residency in Shanghai.
