Jung Jihyun (photographer)

Jung Ji-Hyun graduated with a B.F.A in 2010 and a M.F.A in Photography from Chung-Ang University, Korea. The year he turned twenty, he witnessed a “redevelopment scene” taking place in his neighborhood and became deeply interested in the process of the emergence and disappearance of cities. His major projects include Apartment, Construction Site, and Demolition Site. In 2014, Jung was awarded as the final Artist of the Year by KT&G Sangsangmadang Korean Photographer’s Fellowship, and in 2013, as the winner of the 14th Sajin Bipyong Awards at Photo Space in Seoul, Korea. Jung has so far held two solo exhibitions and a number of group exhibitions. ​
