Andre Maeno

Andre Maeno, the multimedia installation artist, explores and gives body in current time and space to abstract themes, often impossible to identify or approach, through his installation projects using a variety of media such as light and sound. Since 2011, the artist has held several group exhibitions and two solo exhibitions. It was also that same year, 2011, when he started working on his ongoing art installation series, that he first used the pseudonym Andre Maeno. Maeno was selected as a media installation artist by New Stream 2014, a contest for up-and-coming new media artists in Korea discovered and supported by AliceOn, a culture and arts media channel, and he is currently an artist in residence at Incheon Art Platform. ​
