Won Seoyeoung

Won studied photography at Seoul Institute of the Arts and Sangmyung University in Korea, along with media at the Slade School of Fine Arts of University College London. The artist says he is fascinated by objects used in everyday life and has been working on projects combining such objects with elements of painting, installation, and sculpture in a photograph. Won made the shortlist for the International Emerging Artist Award held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2014. After working in London, he returned to Korea and participated in two group exhibitions in Seoul: Space of Difference at Gallery Chosun and Photography and Media 4:00 AM at Seoul Museum of Art.
